    ..from Lubna Chowdary's blog which I found through Bloesem. 
     Hopefully snow will replace rain here in Amsterdam ;-) 

  

     Some nice finds: a barbie chair from the 70's, a hand made skirt and earrings. In the middle a mix of pottery, the vase & little owl I made myself. Found everything in a nearby secondhand store owned by such a nice man, named Ari. He asks gentle prices, is unpretentious and contagiously enthousiastic about his finds.

Went through our storage in preparation for our moving house next year. Rens and Isa were so exuberate when they discovered old toys and started playing..

Zdenek Miler

Zdenek Miler, the illustrator of the mole, just died. He left such a beautiful work. I discovered this road sign with the mole some time ago while cycling through our neighbourhood. It made me smile when I discovered it. Don't know who placed it.

Was too much into that performance to record,

but taped this song: "Can we pretend", which

is even more beautiful. You can't see her,

because we sat too far away in the back

elderflower blossom from the garden

My mother used to make this, my favourite syrup: elderflower cordial. You can find recipes all over the web, it's really easy!
